Welcome to a new year everyone! We at Cenoté Day Spa hope you and your family had a blissful holiday season. Jumping into the New Year, we continue to wish you nothing more than endless blessings and happiness.
New Year, New Resolutions?
You’ve probably already decided that self-improvement is one of the key things on your list for the New Year and why shouldn’t it be? There’s always time to make a better you. Just like Santa has his list for Christmas, why not start yours for the New Year? You’re so busy with the hustle and bustle of everyday life; taking a little TLC once a month would be so beneficially to your health and well being.
Why not take a stop by your favorite local spa, Cenoté, and see what new packages and specials are brewing. “ Renew You”, sounds relaxing doesn’t it? 30 minute Deep Tissue Massage, 10 minute Scalp massage and 10 minute foot Massage, 50 minutes total. Head turning in circles wondering about the cost? STOP! It’s about rewinding and relaxing your mind, plus you really can’t beat a $79 value deal, can you? How’s your skin feeling? Changing with the whether and you’re concerned? Schedule yourself to a rejuvenating Dermalogica Skin Treatment and start your new year off right. Feel as good as good as you look!
We know its tough to hold onto these resolutions, we too find it difficult. Start off small, by making a list of the habits you’ll like to grow out of. Remember, Rome wasn’t built in a day.
How many of you procrastinate?
Ahhhh! A lot of us do. Procrastination is an easy way that all of us get stuck and we might not even know we’re doing it. We often create reason in our heads that supply us with enough logic that we can delay the task at hand. This New Year, practice these few tips I stumbled upon while reading to help you from procrastinating. I think I’ll try it too.
1) Remind yourself that there’s always more to be done than can be done. Then ask yourself if you’re getting the right things done.
2) Break the task down to lessen the sense of being overwhelmed. Once you start to enjoy an accomplishment or two, you’re more likely to keep going and finish.
3) Spend time with people who inspire you to take action.
4) Re-clarify your goals
If you have been procrastinating for an extended period of time, it might reflect a misalignment between what you want and what you are currently doing. Often time, we outgrow our goals as we discover more about ourselves, but we don’t always change our goals to reflect them.
This New Year, try something you’ve never done before or continue the “ good habits “ you’ve been doing in 2016. Surround yourself with people who inspire you to achieve the impossible. ”NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE” Laugh a little bit louder. Dance and sing when no is watching. Bring out only the best of yourself. Feed your mind, body and soul with positive thoughts. Travel the world with friends and family. Make a never ending bucket list. Start a challenge, whether it be a new sport, exercising to help you get healthy or remain healthier. No matter what you decide, share a smile and be happy doing it this New Year.
